ABOUT THE WEBINAR:

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), which includes the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act and the Emergency Family and Medical Leave Expansion Act effective April 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020 applies to business with fewer than 500 employees and certain public employers.  We will explain your obligations for paid and unpaid leave under the Act.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:

Kathleen “Katie” A. O’Grady is an Associate in the Denver, Colorado, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including single-plaintiff discrimination and single-plaintiff wage and hour cases.  Ms. O’Grady is a member of Jackson Lewis’s Disability, Leave and Health Management (DLHM) Practice Group and is the Denver office’s designated DLHM attorney.  Her clients include healthcare companies, financial service companies, and federal contractors, among others.

Jacqueline R. Guesno is Of Counsel in the Denver, Colorado, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents employers before federal and state courts and administrative agencies in matters involving alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Fair Employment and Housing Act, and the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act.
