Annual Education Conference - MO MGMA holds an annual Spring conference which provides great opportunities for education and networking and helps members find resources and solutions for the challenges they face.
Webinars - MO MGMA sponsors free webinars throughout the year on hot topics in our industry to help keep members informed on the changes in healthcare. Webinars are recorded an housed on our website for members to access and review as needed.
Quarterly Connection - a quarterly virtual conference call whereby we utilize our Friday Focus survey to identify timely topics and lead a panel discussion.
Friday Focus - Each Friday we send out a one question survey to help our members stay connected and knowledgeable about what other practices are doing.
Newsletter - Members receive a bi-monthly newsletter with up-to-date information about association activities, legislation and industry trends.
Web Site - MO MGMA maintains a Web site for easy access to industry and association information and activities.
Networking - The MO MGMA membership directory is a resource tool that provides contact information about our members. Talk with other medical practice administrators who are dealing with the same challenges and frustrations that you face.
Legislative News and Information - MO MGMA keeps you informed about important legislative issues which may impact your medical practice.
Professional Enrichment - MO MGMA's mission is to expand the professional education and growth of its membership. Annual scholarship and professional enrichment awards support our members' educational goals.
Active Member - Active members may vote, hold office, and serve on committees. An Active member is one who meets one of the following criteria for membership:
(i) An individual who is directly employed in management or administrative support services by an entity formally organized to provide or facilitate the provision of healthcare services.
(ii) An individual employed by a management organization, hospital/health system, practice management firm or other business entity responsible for managing any operational component(s) of an entity providing healthcare services. This includes consultants who are responsible for operations of one or more practices on an ongoing basis.
(iii) Healthcare providers/clinicians who hold an active license in the state are also considered active members.
Dues for Active Members are $125/year.
Business Partner Member - A Business Partner Member is an individual or a business member to include but not limited to vendors and consultants. Business memberships are allowed one designated representative. A Business Partner Member is entitled to Association membership services as determined by the Board of Directors and will be a non-voting member of the Association and will not be eligible to serve as an officer. Dues for Business Partner Members are $250/year.
Faculty/Student Member - A Faculty/Student Member is an individual that teaches in or is enrolled in a college level program leading to a degree in health care management; or a full time student who requests membership in the Association and does not qualify for any other membership category. A Faculty/Student Member shall not be entitled to vote and will not be eligible to serve as an officer in the Association. Dues for Faculty/Student Members are $40/year.
Associate Member - An Associate Member is an individual with an interest in health care management and does not qualify for any other membership category. An Associate Member shall not be entitled to vote and will not be eligible to serve as an officer in the Association. Dues for Associate Members are $120/year.
Local Chapter Member - Active membership option to join our Central MO, Joplin or Springfield chapter.
