ABOUT THE WEBINAR:
During this presentation you will learn how a grassroots effort to improve health care access and address transportation barriers materialized into a community based approach solution. Mary well set the stage with a brief overview of the history, mission and programs of Missouri Rural Health Association. As the HealthTran director, she will focus on the goals of HealthTran through increasing knowledge of mobility coordination and service, technology development and abilities, building a statewide volunteer driver program and the vision of collaboration to improve access to health and wellness.
ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:
Mary Gordon is currently serving in the role as the Director of Health Tran Program at Missouri Rural Health Association (MRHA). Mary has over 45 years of management experience. Her diversified work history includes eighteen years of business ownership, director of a county wide Volunteer Program which developed three senior assistance programs and a Senior Expo, fifteen years working with high risk youth, dislocated workers, TANF recipients and management of the Mexico Career Center. Working in a non-profit organization had developed networking, collaboration, and communication skills.
