Toniann Richard, CEO of the Health Care Collaborative of Rural Missouri, HCC. The collaborative is the hub for rural network development in West Central Missouri. Toniann is responsible for the leadership, development and implementation of responsive and innovative programs in the region. HCC is a leader in vertically integrated healthcare networks which focus on providing quality care to people in their local communities. The rural health network emerged from an obscure two-person nonprofit organization to an organization of close to 100 employees and 8,000 patients through the community health center model. The Live Well Community Health Centers serve Lexington, Buckner, Carrollton, Concordia, Waverly and surrounding areas, and provide dental, behavioral health primary care and social care services.
Toniann serves in leadership positions through the Missouri Rural Health Association, National Rural Health Association Board of Trustees and Rural Health Congress, Missouri Primary Association and is a 2014 graduate of the University of Kansas Medical Center Health Center Executive Program (Fellowship). Toniann is married to Pat Richard, Head Football Coach at Oak Grove High School and has a teenage daughter, Grace.
