About the presentation:

Rural healthcare CFOs operate in one of the most complex and high-stakes financial environments in the industry. Unlike their peers in urban systems, rural CFOs must do more with less—managing limited budgets, workforce shortages, evolving reimbursement models, and a constant need for innovation, all while keeping their communities healthy. In this educational session we’ll explore the 10 essential competencies that today’s rural CFOs can further develop — ranging from strategic foresight and risk management to team building and technology adoption. You’ll walk away with practical ideas for strengthening these skills in your organization. You’ll also hear from experts at Multiview, a trusted ERP partner to hundreds of rural and community hospitals, who will share real-world examples and solutions that are helping finance leaders like you achieve greater visibility, control, and sustainability — even with limited resources.

About the presenters:

Diana Gate is the Director of Business Development at Multiview Financial Software, where she leads a team of Solutions Engineers responsible for demonstrating the value and capabilities of the Multiview ERP platform and has worked extensively with rural healthcare clients. With nearly 17 years at the company, Diana brings a unique perspective grounded in both hands-on financial leadership and deep product expertise. Laurie Thompson brings over eight years of experience at Multiview Financial Software, where she currently serves as a Senior Solutions Engineer. With a foundational background in accounting, Laurie previously worked in a data analyst role at a critical access hospital during a major system transformation involving the implementation of both a new EHR and the Multiview ERP platform.
