KYLE ADKINS ACHIEVES BOARD CERTIFICATION IN MEDICAL PRACTICE MANAGEMENT
CLINTON, MO, October 1, 2018 — Kyle Adkins, CMPE, Chief of Professional Services, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare, has earned the professional designation of Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) by the American College of Medical Practice Executives, the certification entity of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA)
The designation of CMPE demonstrates that Adkins has achieved board certification in medical practice management. Through industry-leading board certification and Fellowship programs, ACMPE examinations that assess knowledge of the broad scope of medical practice management skills sets as outlined in the Body of Knowledge for Medical Practice Management. These include business operations, financial management, human resource management, information management, organizational governance, patient care systems, quality management and risk management. The individual must also earn a minimum of 50 continuing education credit hours.
Today, MGMA membership is comprised of more than 6,600 individuals who have attained CMPE or ACMPE Fellow status or who seek certification.
Adkins serves on the Board of Directors of Missouri MGMA and is the Chief of Professional Services at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare. He has been a senior leader with GVMH for thirteen years and currently oversees their physician clinics, laboratory, imaging, respiratory and outpatient treatment services in the hospital.
Adkins is active in the community as past president of the Clinton Rotary Club, past president of the Greater Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce, board president of the Clinton Christian Academy and as a deacon at the Clinton Church of Christ. He is a member of the Elks and the Cattleman’s Association and runs a cow-calf operation in nearby Coal. He has been married to his wife, Kelly, for 22 years. Their 16-year-old daughter Avery attends Clinton High School.
